I've been separated with my so to be exhusband(can't afford a divorce)and I have now 40,000 in credit cards that are all in my name only. I've been paying min.payments but it will take YEARS to get rid of it. I don't want to file Bankruptcy cause my credit is good 736,Can the credit card company stop the interest or work out something to reduce the balance? please help

I just got the same call and they did receive the money. I am going to be contacting the attorney general's office. They did take the money out of my account to pay this off and they want $650 from me.

I applied for one and ended up with 5 in my bank accounts no documents were sent no calls and now i'm getting fee's taken out and leaving me broke every week. Thankfully I was able to get some numbers off this sight but I"m going to have to close my checking account this week as I can't keep paying. I've already paid over $600 which isn't right? WHat are they going to do now that I've closed my account? Thanks for your help.

Hello to all. I found this site by accident...thank goodness. My wife has 4 Payday Loans. She has tried to revoke payment, etc. She is not authorized to make transactions into our out of my checking account which is where the debits are coming from. She came to me afraid to tell me but I want to help her. The only thing is, I do not want to close my account as I've had it with the same bank for over 15 years. I am going to write each of the companies myself and let them know that she is not authorized and never was, therefore they are estopped from debiting anymore funds.

At first I was only disputing a portion of the debt, now I am disputing the entire amount (and am wondering if I can request a refund). About 1 1/2 years ago I was at a health fair through my work. While there I signed up with a membership at Gold's gym. While I was doing this I explained that I have spina bifida and due to this need to excercise in a pool. I was told that currently they did not have a pool but a gym would be opening up in 2 months that would.

Does anyone have update information on Westbury Ventures. I received a $300.00 dollar loan and now owe $840.00. They are harrassing me at work and leaving me nasty messages at home. I'm a paralegal in Virgina and they neven called my firm pretending to be calling from an attorney office. Any information would help. I'm trying to handle this matter without my firm getting involved.
