Hey guys, Yes, I'm back after one year. Back in black! As we know, all these online PDLs are illegal. Most of them gave up on me after fighting them with letters saying the loan was illegal. By the same token, I got rid of the ones who reported it to credit reporting agencies.

I've received two messages this week on my home phone from CCB 1-800-755-5249, extension so and so, to call them about an important business matter and the have some case #. The actually state my name on the message. Now, I don't owe money to anyone. Do I call these people back? I'm afraid that will start some nightmare. If I should call them back what do I tell them/ shouldn't tell them? I assume that whatever this is about it should have happened within the last 4 years, which is the statue thingy in my state. Or would they call about something from who knows how long ago?

Anyone familiar with the laws for payday loan companies in Florida? I am searching for information but keep getting nowhere. Also, if payday loans are done over the web, are the companies bound by our state laws or are we bound by the laws of the location of the payday companies??

Im currently in bankruptcy and want to get out and selltle my debt on my credit cards. Is there any possible way you could help me with this? thanks

I know I am becoming the POST queen with all my questions, but I am having trouble with Eastside Lenders. I originally took out a loan for 300.00. I have since paid them 462.50. Their payment was returned (of course) so now they want $287.50. I have sent them several e-mails and no response. I told them I would send them money just to buy a little time. From what I have researched, they are not licensed in Florida and they have allowed my loan to roll over numerous times. The next thing to do would be to send them a letter via certified mail, right?
