i got a call from wisconsin auto title and payday loans looking for someone who listed me as a referance i told them no i dont know where she is..she got nasty and i told her not to call me she not at this number she called again today looking for her.. can i send them a cease and disisit letter

Hi everyone, I was having a discussion today with a co-worker about pdl debt and using T & C and she stated that I should only use T & C for my pdls and not credit cards and personal loans. I am definitely not going to be using the credit cards and need to reduce or eliminate the personal loan. We already filed bankruptcy and on paper our credit report looks pretty good since. No late payments (on paper)even though I struggle with my car payments. We are trying to build our credit back up to get a house and I want to know if going through T & C will hurt or help.

So I have totally messed up my finances! I am a teacher and a respiratory therapist, I make good money, you would never know it!! Between payday loans and credit cards I have about 5000 bucks. I am really hoping I can get some help here cause I am SINKING!!!

My fiance & I both just turned 21. At the time in our life when we should both just be starting out, planning our wedding, saving to buy a house, etc. we are so in debt we can't afford to eat (literally)! Why? PAYDAY LOANS. I seriously need help here people. We have 8 payday loans. We didn't have the money to pay rent, eat, or get gas, so within the past two weeks we just stopped paying the fees.

I have a cc with First Premier Bank. The interest rate is 19% and they charge an annual fee of $48 for which I was just assessed. I am current in the payments on this card because the minimum payment is just $20. I have three others I am claiming on my bankruptcy. The credit limit for this card is only $300 and it has a balance of $294 now thanks to the annual fee. My question is this: should I keep this card, or file it on my bankruptcy? Should I keep it to help my credit score since it will be shot for a long time? Or should I just get rid of it because it is so costly?

I am going to file a chapter 13 bankruptcy soon and I just did the required counseling online. It cost $50 through the company I did it with. Can I say, what a waste of money. All they did was ask what your income was, debts, assets, etc. then tell you your debt to income ratio. All that for $50 when I am filing bankruptcy and don't have any money anyway. What a waste. I could have done that myself. I just had to vent about it. :twisted:

Is there any way for a person that has bad credit already,to get a debt consolidation loan?

On 11/05 I had a FICO score around 461 (yech). At that time it really hit me that I needed to get my act together and start caring for my credit. Until I found this site, I did what I could on my own to repair my credit. But it was such a slow process. I then stumbled onto this site two or so months ago. I began reading. And reading. And reading. Then I registered and had fantasic help with whatever questions and/or concerns I had.
