I have recently mounted 10,800.00 in debt. This encludes 4 cc's and 2 personal loans. I was recently relocated on my job which requires me to drive 30 miles to and from work and added expense of $250.00 a month. This has increased the little money I had extra to pay on bills. I am now behind on all about two months. I just have hit hard times and cannot afford the monthly payments. With interest fees and late fees, I just cannot do it. I do not know which way to go in all of this. I am on the verge of a breakdown.

Hi, I have read on here that several people are having issues with Geneva Roth Cap. They are pulling $90 out of my checking account evety 2 weeks and every time I call them they just put me on hold or disconnect me. I called the bank and they will charge me $30 for every 30 days that they have to place a stop pay on that debit. Can anyone help me get them to stop taking my money please???

hi my name is rachel. ive gotten myself in debt by getting credit cards in the mail while i was only 17. Being so young i thought if i juss spent a min. i would be able to pay it back, in the end i found myself close to 10,000 in debt and i need help because i would like to finance a car and im not able to do that till some of my debt is paid back. so i need help in anyway possible. thank you.

My paycheck is currently garnished for a defaulted student loan. I owe back taxes to the IRS, can they do more than one garnishment at a time? Thanks!

These people (united legal) keep calling my husband to. they called about 2 months or so ago, stating that if he didn't call them back by 12 that there was going to be legal action that he bounced a check across state lines and that he was going to be arrested for bank fraund and wire fraud. well, we explained the situation that back in december our checking account had been been found out and there was fraud taking place. we hadn't contacted the payday loan companies because when looking up the name of the companies online we couldn't find any address's or #'s.

I had overdraft charges above 800.00 that my well know National Bank would not return to me. Because they would not close my account when I had my account in the positive, I filed a complaint with the OCC.(Office of the Controller of Currency for the Federal Gov't.) The next time the banks collection folks called and I told them this they agreed to reverse all the charges. I was given this advise from our states Chief Financial Officers Office. The State has no jurisdiction over National banks.

I am writing this letter to help you all out. I am a late stage collector (4-6 months) for Citibank, At&T, ANB , and Key Bank Credit Cards. All which are part of the Consumer Card Portfolio for Citi. I am writing this from a collectors standpoint. One we are people most of whom have famlies and children, or we are students working our way through college. I am speaking only from a citi standpoint and no other companies, but we have programs with apr redcutions down to 0% as well as payment reduction programs, though they are based off your CURRENT balance.
