I recently received 2 letters from Asset Acceptance, LLC- for 2 separate accts. (I know they are junk debtors). I know I paid these accounts, but unfortunately I no longer have proof. The SOL has not run out. I sent them a letter demanding verification- I received a reply on one of the letters- all they did was repeat the amount owed and company. Is this enough for verification? It shows nothing to me! I have no idea what to do, nothing about these acounts is on my credit report. HELP!

Where can I find a sucessful set of talking points for calling card co's and letters to attempt to settle unsecured card debt my self. I am judgement proof because my income.

I have collections and a few payday loans that I have to pay off. I've got a few creidt cards to pay as well. Credit is HORRIBLE and I need to do somethign very soon to start paying things off and get creditors off my back. Please contact my by email first and then by phone. this company is killing me! They have emailed me every day this week claiming that I still owe $270 on a $250 loan that I have paid back $460 on. Anyway, they tell me that I can convienantly pay this debt by using paypinion(a safe and secure website) and then list an email address, the mail I have sent to this address always gets returned undeliverable. Well today I emailed their compliance and customer service and finally got a response: We do not have an account under this name. Really?? Then why are you emailing it?

Well, I never thought this would happen to me...but it did. My husband is self employeed and his business just tanked. He has been waiting for over 45 days for checks to come in and if you do the math you already end up late for one months bills and the next one is already due. If you lack customers, like he does now you are really in a bind. My husband owes over 60K between taxes, credit cards, and vendors. Plus, he is unable to add to our household income and we are behind in the mortgage payment and equity loan by one month. I work, but not enough to cover everything.

Husband passed away May 23, 2006. Left me with house mortgage and credit card bills. Only receive $1480 a month and that is what the mortgage is. My utilities and credit cards are extra. Money husband left is just about gone. Need help badly
