I have been working with Langhorne debt solutions to help settle my 11 payday loans I have outstanding. I am just starting to get the collection calls and emails, CashTransferCenters has called three times and sent me an email saying they are contacting the payroll dept. at my work. Can they legally do that? Am I worrying over nothing, or should I be worried? Help! Has anyone else used Langhorne for payday loan resolution? What were the results? Thanks!

I am paying a debt to my original creditor Washington Mutual, however there is a collection agency called ER Solutions claiming they are collecting for Washington Mutual. I spoke with Washington Mutual regarding this and they said my account is not with an outside collection agency and they don't know why ER Solutions is calling me. I have sent a letter to ER Solutions requesting proof that they are collecting for Washington Mutual and as of today I have not received anything. What can I do to get them to stop calling me. Please help.

Hi everyone, My ex-husband called me last night and told me that a man was trying to serve me a summons. My son answered the door and when the man asked for me (my previous married name) my son told him what city I live in. At that time my ex got to the door and took over and refused to tell him anything. He then immediately called me and informed me what happened. I then looked up this web site and found out how to find out if it was a real summons (which it is). It is for a pretrial whatever and is set for June.

Hubby has a collection account from 1996 that was just sold again and they are trying to collect from him. He thought he paid over 8 years ago, but has no proof. This company is calling my house day and nightevery 30 minutes.

Hi All - Would anyone know any recourse that I can take against a title company for not paying our mortgages off until 14 days after closing resulting in 30 day lates on our credit reports? We live in Ohio. Closed loan on 2/22/07 - recision period ended 2/26/07 - Funded per new mortgage company 2/27/07, but checks were not cut from title company until 3/5/07 :evil: resulting in negatives on my hubby's credit report. Is there anything we can do? He just had 2-60 days go over a year to get his credit back up because we were struggling winter '05 and he was late on mortgages.

I found out that the situation with the Wage Execution I received earlier this month was not due to a PDL, but rather a credit card I had 6 years ago (love how they wait until the last minute to retaliate against you). I was able to work it out with my attorney and she got the Wage Execution cancelled. I do have to pay $25.00 a week to the Attorney representing the plaintiff but that's alot better than having my paycheck eaten up. Thank you guys sooooooooooooo much for all your help. I really could not have done it without all your caring and advice.

I need some help. I have three payday loans with the following companies. Quick Cash Direct $300- I have paid 2 payments of $75.00 Cash Today- $225 I have paid 2 paymenms of 80.00 United Cash Loans- 200 and paid 2 payments of $60.00 I am so overdrawn right now it's not funny. I have written to my bank about stopping the debits, but I don't know what else to do. This is really the only debt I have and I am lost. Andrea
