Where can I get toll free number directory?

i need help on how to deal with this people... guys are great... if it wasn't for this forum i will probably give this people my money... but i still need help on how to deal with them before they call me... i got their number from a missy from icollect...please....help!!!

A few months ago I began receiving numerous letters from a "TRS Recovery Services". Each letter had a different reference number and a different debt amount. The company they pretended to be collecting for was Wal-Mart which they likely thought would be easy since "everybody shops there". The mistake they made however was that I don't shop there and therefore knew these claims were fraud. Moreover, I get a credit report twice a year and know all my debts.

I am in over my head. I have judgments and pending lawsuits. Can you help?

For all of you who recieve that illegal call from a collection company or creditor, telling you that you will be arrested or that you have committed some crimes, relax. The only crime being committed is the statements being made by the collector. It is illegal to threaten arrest or accuse a consumer of committing a crime. Tell the caller that you know your rights and that you will be reporting their illegal call to the Attorney Generals Office of whatever state they are based. They are trying to scare you into wiring them money, and hoping that you are not an informed consumer.

Send this letter through certified mail to the collection agency harassing you. It combines a letter of validation with a cease and desist letter. Sample debt validation letter. Here is the jist of my story. I live in the state of Texas. Last year I took out a couple of PDLs. Most of which have been paid off. But before I could get the last paid my truck broke down and I lost my child support. For the past year, I have been harrassed by Westbury Ventures at work. Everytime I speak with them they offer me a settlement $700 for a $400 loan. When I tell them that I can pay $100 every two weeks until its paid off they won't accept it.
