I received a letter from them yesterday my HSBC account got turned over to them I got behind but have been making payments on this. I am sending a debt validation letter. Does anybody have any helpful advise on this and will they sue you.

Does anyone have an address for these people. They have called my work for 3 days straight after I have told them not to and even faxed over a letter to not call me at work but they continue and will not give me an address........

This company contact me at the # 416-777-7776 and wanted me to call them back at the toll free # of 888-811-1594 Ext 86 and they called themselves the Chance Encounter Group. I could find nothing on the internet on them and they stated they could send a contract over but there are no banks that will lend me the funds and thereby they need for me to purchase insurance. I was scammed once before for over $700 and I won't do that again. The lady stated if I could find a co-signer or get the insurance I could receive the funds. Has anyone else heard of this group or this #?

I have been served with a Notice of Hearing; Proof of Service dated 4/4/07 for an unpaid credit card debt. I understand that the statute of limitation for a credit card debt in CA is four years. How do you exactly calculate this four years? Is the start date of the 4 years based on the last payment I made on this card which was 3/20/03 or when the check cleared on 3/25/03? And when is the end date of the 4 years? Is it 4/4/07, which is the date of the Notice of Hearing? If everything is correct, it looks like my case is just a tad over 4 years.

Someone could spoof your cell number, and if the Voicemail picks up, go though your messages, easy as that. Some might have heard the story of Paris Hilton doing this to an ex-boyfriend.

I live in North Carolina. My husband and I were in danger of losing our home so I got a payday loan to get us through. I now have at least five loans and I don't know how to pay them off. The fees take up and entire week's paycheck. I do not have a banking account but I am an authorized signer on my husband's account. This is also messing up his credit. How do I find out all of the companies I have a payday loan with, their address and how to make a financial arrangement?
