American Express Harassment

12 years 9 months ago
My wife has a credit card from American Express and is a little over 60 days late. American Express has begun calling 60 times in a 60 minute period. This means the phone is rining every 60 seconds for an entire hour. Does this appear to have risen to the level of intentional phone harassment? Would an attorney have any case to file a lawsuit against AmEx for the harassment? I have the call number, date, time, caller name, and phone number written down AND on video tape for all of these calls. Could use some advice. Thanks, Kevin C

NetCash 123/Cash on Wheels

12 years 9 months ago
Has anyone had any dealings with Netcash 123/Cash on Wheels? They are apparently the same company. I live in California, checked the CA Department of Corps. website, can't find their name listed. I have recently defaulted on a loan I've been paying on for what seems like forever. The loan was for $600.00, I've paid $2880.00 since December of 2011. They are asking for a payment plan to pay $990.00 to them to close the account. Good one, eh?!

I have a loan with them for 485$. They debit the full amount on each payday but I have to reloan because I can't live without the money. I've done this for a long time. I don't have all my records but I know I've paid about 2700$ total to them. What should I do at this point? They are set to debit my account on Monday. I know I can't stop this, but what should I do for future debits? Are they legal? can I send an ACH revoke letter? Does anyone have any experience with them? Please help me!!

Thinking of taking the money and running

12 years 9 months ago
So my husband wants to start a catering business, but he has no startup cash. He needs about $1,200. We were thinking of just getting some loans and then closing the account and trying to pay the loan companies back once we have money. But, we don't want to do further damage to ourselves and honestly it isn't right to live like that. But we want to keep caught up on our bills and he cannot earn money without equipment and a little inventory. What do we do now?

Cash call delbert services

12 years 9 months ago
I had a loan with cash call for $5,000 and to date have paid over $11,000. I have stopped making payments and received numerous phone calls and letters regarding refinancing etc of the loan. I now am receiving calls from delbert services, but when you call the number that shows up on the caller ID it is to cash call. I have emailed the person listed I previous post Eliza I believe and the phone calls start up again from delber services. Has anyone dealt with this and how have you handled it.

I owe money to credit cards in Canada. I can't pay and no longer live there. What should I do?

12 years 9 months ago
Need a bit of advice here. I'm a Canadian living in the US at the moment. Since 2005 I have been in and out of Canada, but mostly in the US but have always established residency in Canada, filed/paid my taxes etc. Now, I'm permanently in the US. I racked up almost $18K in credit card debt in Canada on a credit card I've had since 2001. Until about 2005 or 2006, I had always paid off my card in full.
