There is a negative item on my report and the only information provided is "North Star Comp" it's a small amount, but I'd like to get in contact with them to verify it before I move forward. It's only on my Equifax report.

Anyone know who is calling from this number?

Hi I am in debt oweing two payday loan places because it has been slow at work and needed money for bills for rent and groceries.I owe them $1100.00. Not only do I owe that but I also owe a car place the rest of my down payment of 807.00. I have been trying to find a personal loan for 2500.00 but it is hard with my credit. Soon I will be more in debt and probably out of a home and vehicle. Please please, help. THANK YOU!! :cry:

GEMB/DISNET appeared on my credit report as past due; I don't recall this account. Please help. Thank you.

Two separate debts are reported on all three credit bureau reports. I have only had contact from one (over a year ago - they contacted me by phone but did not follow up with a letter in five days as outlined by law.) From what they said, it is a debt owed in 2002 (I check for my state,SOL is 6 years). However, the qlitch is that these two items are showing last reported dates as Feb and Mar 07.

My Daughter Robyn & boyfriend Paul/ Advantage Dodge, Mount Dora Florida My daughter (handicapped) and boyfriend bought a vehicle there. I did not know until much later that boyfriend's credit did not go thru so they put truck in my daughters name alone. Advantage Dodge's salesperson had falsified the application for her loan by showing her income as almost 6X what it was, ($4500. a mo investment income not a disability check of $738. a mo) and showing she owned a $90,000 home outright ( she owns 1/2 of a 1994 singlewide mobile home).

Can anybody tell me if they have had success with Mezey & Associates company? I have been a client for 10 months and am dissatified with the service I have received from customer service. Any comments on this?

I am re-posting here a response I made to another thread in the pub, but I think the topic is good, and there are many people in this community who could share their experiences and help those who are just beginning to deal honestly with their debt and don't know where to begin. I could post this in any number of forums, but I think in order to get the most input on it, this if the best forum. I would like the community to elaborate on this thought.
