I received a letter from Universal Fidelity stating that I owed $410.00. I called them to ask what this was - they could not give me any information other than that I owed 410.00, but if I paid it today with a check by phone, it would be 296.00, or by credit card, it would be 287.00. They stated it was for a payday loan I had last September. The whole thing sounded like a scam to me - and I would like some information. I was under the impression that all of my payday loans had been taken care of. When I talked with my bank, they said money had been debited to my account in August.

I have found myself in debt to different places with a compound of defferent reasons. I want to get ahold of life and get back on top of my financial world. hello, my issue is that creditors keep calling me when i cant afford to pay them back right away, yes i got myself into a lot of debt and i want to get my credit score to excellent again.

My sister helped me get a credit card and a pc loan about 4 1/2-5 years ago. I had paid this as I was suppose to until my husband lost his job. She said she would help me so I wouldnt get to far behind while we waited on unemployment to start, then got mad about it and started telling my parents, other sibling and just about everyone else I stole her idenity. I managed to prove enough that it wasnt idenity theif and she agreed to me and her using a credit help thing. I got the credit card paid off and have a letter from the company saying it was paid off in 2003.

I have $29,000 in debt with 3 seperate credit cards. I am considering a debt settlement company but am scared I will be sued or stuck holding an even bigger tag at the end of the day. One credit card has 19K on it and I will reach my limit at 21K. What are you thoughts.

I am 50 days late on my car loan and when I talked to them today they are demanding that I make a $840 Money Gram payment by this Friday by 3 pm or they will come and get my car. My last payment was returned because when I made the transaction online I put Friday as the pay date and then realized that I didn't get pay until Friday-Saturday. Called them to see if I could change the date by one day and they toldme me that it was getting procssed and to leave it like that. Well now I am 50 days and trying to catch-up.
