I am asking for a letter of receipt that the account has been settled and paid in full

I am fairly new to this site and first of all thank you for all the good info. so far. My question is...is it better to fight the internet PDLs on your own or go through an agency or is there any agencies that will work with internet PDLs? It seems like I have seen some people on this site refer to some agencies. Any recommendations will be appreciated.

i have a friend that has a student loan back form 1990 she had troble paying it and hasnt paid anything on it for 10 years.. does the sol apply to student loans to?

Well i'm dealing with paychecktoday now. I have been getting calls and then when I answer they hang up. So yesterday I called back and the lady that answered the phone told me that they are trying to collect on my PDL through paychecktoday so she put me through to a Ms. White who was handling my account, well when I asked Ms. White about all the hang up's she hung up :evil: So I looked up info on them and I forwarded all the e-mails I sent to paychecktoday (settlement offers that I got no response to) and other things I had to my state DFI. She is sending a letter out to ARM today.

Does anyone no of a firm that can consolidate payday loans

Hey Everybody... Been an interesting day today on the forums. I have been trying to give advice to people in need but it seems that my opinion is not needed here anymore. i'm fallin behind on both of my car payments due to a shady deal at a local car dealership. i had been doing good in clearing up my debt until all this happened about 6 months ago. now i am in jepordy of repo and its causing me to become more in debt because i'm missing payments with my other creditors. i keep geeting in deeper and deeper. i need help asap.
