I am at work and my boss (the boss of the entire department I work in just let me know that there is a message on her private desk phone for me from this Absolute Collections corp! I do not even know who they are or why the hell they're calling my boss and leaving a message and I just checked my phone and the same message my boss received is also on my phone by the same lame looser. What can I do? who can I report this harassment to?:mad:

Hi, I've been receiving calls from these annoying people for at least 6 or 7 years for a family I've never even heard of; the Crofts. Only one I know of by that name was Tomb Raider. Ive explained this to them dozens of times and they just plain dont care, they put us right back into their auto call rotation. Is there anyway I can easily get them to stop. certaining they have now crossed the lined and are committing harrassment right. Curt

I got a payday loan from a company online. Now a third party collection agency is threatening to serve me papers. Can the third party take me to court or does it have to be the original lender?

i have a bunch of accounts about to pass the 30 day mark , i have been already getting calls. what i want to know is fist should i even be picking the phone up this early in the game ? second if i should be which so far i have ,all they want to do is bring the account current .should i be telling them i have a little pool of money from family and im settlling with any account thats willing ? but then if i tell them i have some cash to settle they will want to no why cant you just bring account current hope that made sence thank u to who ever can help

I've had a few accounts go into chex systems (I think..they were overdrawn and referred to a collection agency. I've paid one of) and I have been turned down by banks before upon trying to open an account. I decided to try and apply for a checking/savings account through Wells Fargo and I was approved! I was surprised but pleased. Now I'm nervous that they'll close it due to finding out about my other accounts. Don't they check all of that before approving you? Or should I still worry?

I received a call from Mr. Davis saying that they had file a Felony charge for closing my bank account with chase and not paying the loan that if i did not pay by Monday i was getting served to go to court on Wednesday and start my charges of felony. Is OPD a legal loan company in California and can they do this? I am really scared they also mentioned that they had gone to the los angeles county to file and that if i don't pay the sheriffs will be out to my work to subpena me. So i gave them a prepaid card number to charge. But should i not pay??

If you find out your lender is operating illegally in your state (Plain Green) and circumstances have created a burden to pay the loan back, should you send them a letter, like the ones that several of your have provide examples of, or wait until they contact you? Tks

Are private loans eligible for medical discharge? I have the forms for the Federal loans, but they do not specifically mention private loans on the forms. Are there different forms for private loans or are they not eligible for medical discharge? Alexis
