what do you do if you take out a pdl and find out its illegal?

I am very angry someone has applied this to my bank account with out my knowledge and now I am -$75 in imy bank account and I want it fixed! I never applied for this service nor did i authorize anyone to do so! I want contacted immediatly about this.!

Can someone please advise why the topic case law in this dealing with CA section has been locked to protect the innocent? I don't see where any harm was done and I wonder if cajun is being a litte over zealous. This is supposed to be a board to share ideas not to have them locked when one person thinks so. Can one of the admins please advise on this?

I have been contacted by a Suzanna Thompson with a Bass & Associates in reference to four payday loans that I had over two years ago their number is 1-877-281-2220 address is 9378 Arlington Exp. Ste. 323 Jacksonville, FL 32225. Fax# 904-598-0207. She claims she is faxing me information to verify these loans but that was over an hour ago but have not received - these loans should have been taken care of a year ago - I called the Attorney Generals Office on a company called Pre-Litigation Services now I guess I have to do the same with these people.

I just received my bank statement in the mail yesterday and Geneva Roth took $400 out of my checking account on the 15th. I have not talked to these people in over 4 months and have never ever gave them my account numbers. I was never contacted recently stating they were taking money out, i have no garnishment papers, nothing!!!! How can they get my account information and how can they take money out esp $400 when i never gave them permission????

I need phone number to stop withdrawals from bank taken to much out. I should be done

I sent Payday Select and Payday OK the letter the other day showing how much I borrowed, had paid, etc. They replied last night. I borrowed $200 from each. I have paid Payday Select $90 and Payday OK 121.44. Payday OK wrote back and said my balance is $160 and they will let me make monthly payments of $40 until June, when they want 2 payments. Payday Select says my balance is $200. They also will take monthly payments of $50 to get that paid off. They are still charging me more than the legal amount.

O.k. here's my history. I borrowed $300 from USA Fees in January. I have since been paying only the finance fees of $90 since then. Rollovers are not even allowed in Texas where I reside so they are in the wrong there. Total paid to them is $270. I wrote them a letter explaining that there were in the wrong for lending in the state of Texas where they are not even a licensed lender and that I was willing to settle with them for the remaining $30 that I owe to pay the $300 back in full. I have been in email contact with "john" which I am going to post his responses to me.
