Information Disclosure Authorization letter...

18 years 10 months ago
I got this from T&C today to sign. Do I send this back to T&C, or do I make copies of it and send it to the PDLs I've put with T&C?

I noticed something on my Cashland PDL contract...

18 years 10 months ago
That I've never noticed before, and it's got me concerned. The following is what is typed on the back of the contract, and I'm wondering if it could mean wage assignment? Does this mean wage assignment? I work for State government here in Ohio, so is it possible for Cashland to do a wage assignment on me? I thought I read somewhere on this board that wage assignments cannot be done on wages earned by State government jobs. Does it mean the new bank account I opened could be debited from by Cashland?

I am finally with T&C!

18 years 10 months ago
And they are helping me with my PDL mess! I'm feeling more relieved now, thank the Lord! :D Hopefully, things will get better as time goes on. T&C has sent out the proposals to my PDLs, so hopefully the proposals will be accepted, and the PDLs will start talking to T&C regarding the matter. T&C told me that if any of the PDLs call me to refer them to T&C, so I hope the PDLs will abide by that wish and do that. Also, I got from T&C today an "Information Disclosure Authorization" letter.

Have a question about Credit report

18 years 10 months ago
I am trying to clean up my report.. and I noticed that my car note shows a repo.. Now I am sitting looking at my car.. it was never repo so I send a dispute and called my loan company they also show no problems ( one or two 30 days but that’s all) One agency shows collection and the other shows a write off.. also 2, 90 days and 3, 60 days payments How can I get this fixed.. The loan company agrees with me and says they never reported any problems.. And the Credit agencies wont listen.. Any Ideas??? I am so angry.. the one thing that I pretty much keep up is screwed up!!!

Finally a Deep Breath...Thank God for T & C!!!

18 years 10 months ago
I had originally set up payment plans with my PDL people (or so we thought) until they decided that our plans weren't enough. The harassment started again today. One even called into my work today and made me so upset that I just burst into tears. I finally called T & C today and they will be taking care of my and my husband's PDL's, internet and store front, and also my credit cards. I was approved very quickly and my rep was so nice to talk to! She sympathized with me about how nasty these PDL people are!

Late posting of the debt in credit report

18 years 10 months ago
I acquired debt to a community college in June 2003, the account went into collections with our state Collection unit and paid in December 2003. However, the account didn't appear on my credit report until March 2005. I didn't notice until I became a victom of fraud in June 2005, is it legal for a company to do this? I have disputed it with the two reporting agencies it reoprts with, thus far they advised me to contact the creditor itself, however I did and they just keep blowing me off. Is there a law that gives them a timeframe to report?

Thought I would post this in case there are people here that are looking into a mortgage. Quote:
LOS ANGELES (AP) -- New Century Financial, the beleaguered lender that caters to people with poor credit scores, said Monday it had received cease-and-desist orders from four more states to stop it from accepting new mortgage applications. The Irvine-based company said in a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission that Connecticut, Maryland, Rhode Island and Tennessee issued the orders Wednesday and Thursday
