I just got the following email...I havent made a payment through my bank. I have also filed complaints with this company. Is this a "generic" email or is this legit...I'm guessing since I havent made any transactions with my bank (which is a different bank all together) This email isnt for real? Please give input! We refinanced our house last month and the new mortage company was supposed to pay-off the old one (Ocwen). Well, we have been getting calls from Ocwen with the recorder saying that they need to talk to us. Yesteray we got a letter saying that if we didn't pay, they were going to foreclose.

Do ipdl affect ur credit and can they stop you from writing checks at storefronts?

I found them really confusing. The second one and the last one say 'renewals' are not allowed, then what does it mean by '5 consecutive loans'; aren't they rollovers/renewals? Can anyone please explain it?

Judgment by default. That is what is happing to me and I am so not sure what my next step is. On Feb 20th or about I was on a circuit court website (I was checking out a guy that my gf wanted to date to see if his divorce was final, single chicks do weird things) I pumped in my last name for kicks and bingo I found out I had a court date to discover my assests from a group called Resurgence in Northbrook IL. Apparently they have been chasing me since 05. Until recently I had no clue. They sent out severs to every address I have lived at over the last 15 years.

I had one payday loan that continued to debit my checking account for 13 months. Needless to say, I paid way more than I owed !! Is it possible to reclaim that overpayment? I did contact them and they attempted to make me pay the orginal loan before considering the account closed. I told them no way !! You have more than enough of my money already! They marked the loan paid in full on 2/20/07. So one down and more to go ! Thanks.

Okay now is when I need some outstanding help here people. First I took my payroll dept. at work a change of account as to where to deposit my check,(I opened a new account at a different bank and had them to deposit it there. That was Tuesday morning. Now on Wed. Morning I closed the old checking account and I assumed that they would not allow any more activity to take place on this account. Well guess what, both my employer and my old bank (in my opinion anyway) dropped the ball.
