As I continue my 7 payday battle, I have 2 wins and now a battle on my hands. I sent revocation and an offer in compromise letter to AMT (advance me today) on 9/3. I received an email stating my loan was with their "recovery department"... Whatever. Just today I got a call from AMT, and this guy got rude. Offered a payment in principle only....when I mentioned I had already paid that back through thousands of dollars collected on previous loans he got nasty. Said I was a thief, and was committing fraud.....and he was going to call my boss and tell them I was committing fraud.

I need help for a friend. He was in the National Guard for 3 years. It was a 6 year contract, with an enlistment bonus. The first year he got $10,000, the second year he got $5,000 and the third year he for another $5,000. He did not fulfill the 6 year contract, so the Dept of Defense said he owed them the last bonus he received of $5,000. He made payments of $140 a month for about 6 months until he lost his job, then it was turned over to the Dept of Treasury. They withheld his income tax refund of about $1,300 for 2011 taxes.

I reached the base on my ch.13 a little over a month ago, and they are still taking the money out of my paycheck. I have paid over $500 in over the base. I have tried to talk to my attorney, but he never returns my calls. Also we have found a house we want to buy. Is there any way the discharge can be hurried in any way? I was just wondering if this was common. The BK was filed in Pennsylvania.

I too have been scamed by FreshStart but not because I didn't pay back money borrowed they tried to say I owed 1600 on 500 borrowed. I would never, never use a payday laon service ever again..lessons learned for me the hard way. ~R

I live in Oregon and fell into the Payday Loan traps. Come to find out most pdl's are illegal in oregon. I employed PaylessFinancialGroup to haelp me and I Closed my bank account. I have been getting some collection notices and other notifications. What should else can I do in Oregon.

So I have found lots of good advice in this forum and have been in contact with Cash Central about my PDL with them. It was originally loaned in the amount of $700 and I have, as of last Friday, paid them $700 thus far....this is my second PDL with them too. Anyway, I am trying to get my head above water as this is one of many loans I have. LA laws say that a lender can lend no more than $350 for a PDL and that the finance fee can be no more than $45 and that no rollovers or refinances are allowed.

I have a outstanding loan from JHS marketing, I understand that they are off shore lenders, what are texas laws regarding default on these payday loans

Have recieved two letters from cash call both stating my loan started with westersky and was transfered to cash call and that if Im unhappy with the loan I should pay in full 2600 which Ive already paid 4000 over Ive closed the account and wrote to the FTC should I be doing anything else or continue to demand a refund and a PIF?
