Can a lien be placed on your property without your knowledge? Long story ... short civile judgement, owe money, paying scheduled payments per court order (not child support). 4 years later discover lien on mortgage while attempting to refinance. Was this explained to husband in court procedings???

I have had three loans with PG and two have been paid off. However, I still have a loan with them and because I've lost my job and am unable to pay them or anyone at this time, I decided to add up the interest from the past loans and the payments already made on this current loan and it totaled well over what the principle balance is. I used the form letter found on this site and their response was that they would not use the past interest for this current loan.

I had a $300 limit card with Cap. One, and CIR took over the debt, they put a debt of $2,200 on me !!!!! sent me letter of offer for $700, 800 then 900. I finally response to the offer. Called them and bargained if they can reduce the price to 600, Diana (legal assistant - acts like a lawyer to me) said I have to pay $900 or it will be there forever. I ended the call, and called back in few days later. I thought I could resolve it in a polite manner with them.

My husband used to have the Zales credit card and we use it to purchased a total 2,700 giving a deposit of $800.00 cash and the balance in the card and we also purchased that lifetime proctetion. Because financial problems we didnt paid the credit card and they closed the account. Now my ring has the diamond loose. Can i take it to Zales to get it fixed with the proctetion plan or not??? we are currently not paying the card. Thanks
