I wish I had read your posts before hand. Any way I keep gettind debted the 90 every two weeks will they ever contact me again to repay my loan? Or do I have to take matters in my own hands to make them pay it off. I have had others that tell me ever other week do you want to pay off the loan or just keep making payments. They are the only ones that don't do what with me.

I am looking into the above on behalf of my husband. Would like to find out how much the monthly would be if he was to consolidate three of his credit cards (amounting all to $27,500) and how it would affect his credit. Also, do you charge a service fee?

I sent the Debt collector a certified letter to validate the Debt. I haven't received any response from them, can they sue before they validate the letter. Thanks

I have gotten many calls from some one with an Indian accent at work. He harrassed my co-worker. When I asked him to give me a number so that I could call back at a more appropiate time, he refuse. I then told him he needs to stop calling and he stated he will call 100 times a day if he wants. I do believe this is illegal - any ideas on what to do?

I have a credit card with First Premier Bank, and of course I fell behind on my monthly payments b/c of being caught up in the pdl mess. A lady from this company left a voicemail on my home phone yesterday while I was at work. I called my home # and checked my messages while I was on my lunch break, so I called her back. She told me that if they didn't receive a payment by 2pm yesterday, my account was going to charge off. I was telling her that I was at work and I couldn't do anything right then.

Can you still buy a car while your behind on cards and in the process of debt settlement?

can any one give me some tips for this situation... a company called Merchants Credit Guide contacted me on behalf of Palisades Collections, LLC. They told me that I had an outstanding debt to ATT for approx 600.00. I called MCG and told them that I wanted "validation" of the debt I owe and told them that I would be submitting it in writing. I have however, had an account with ATT. I did call them and they told me that there was a charged off amount.

Ineed help in consolidating and reducing my monthly payments

I went to school for 5 years pursuing a Physician Assustant degree. For the last five years of school we had to work 40 hours a week doing clinical work in which we did not get paid. I graduated in august of 2006 and started a job at the beginning of this year. I have several credit cards that have balances on them that I had to use in order to live for the past year or so. However, I have not been able to pay even the minimum payments for the past 3 months and have increased the amounts from late payment fees, finance charges, and over limit fees.
