I am trying to dig out from the "cash advance" trap. I am looking for address information for the following companies: VC Funding, Cash Net Loans, and AIP GG. These are the names that show up on my statement. I can't seem to find an address for them. Can any one help?

My husband is a SAHD (Stay At Home Dad). He has quite a few credit card debts, appx totaling $10K, plus student loans. I'm not sure if they are federally-funded or not. He is thinking about filing BK because we are really struggling with the payments on these cards. Plus a couple of his cards have raised his interest rate w/o a good reason. I've been paying the cards on time each month and have never been late, but I usually go negative in my bank account (luckily, they cover the amount) each month.

Hey there ~ I posted a few days ago that someone tried to use my check card to process over $500 with Western Union but was unsuccessful due to fraud detection...thank god (new card, new account, new bank, new everything). Anyway that was on 1/16...now it's 1/18 and I think the person who might have done this knows that he wasn't able to steal it...so I have a message to call him back.

Hi! I found this site in a bit of desparation, and I'm hoping someone could give me some advice on what to do next. I am a full-time college student, with a part-time job (I'm an administrative assistant - not a temporary waitressing job). Due to earlier stupidity, and a couple of very destructive relationships, I've managed to rack up about 13,000 in CC debt, over 4 credit cards. I have never missed a payment, nor have I ever went over the limit, but my credit score went down from 700 to 611 in a year.

Which is better? Disputing directly to the Bureaus, or to the collectors?

I am utilizing CCC of America and so far they are pretty good. My question is this, how will this affect my credit or will it affect my credit. I utilized PDL's and had to change jobs and got behind and so I utilized CCC to assist me but I want to know if this will jack up my credit and once the settlements have been negotiated and they have been paid how can I have this removed or amended on my credit and can I at all or am I just jacked up for 7 years? How does debt settlement affect your credit rating. Also does anyone know if Chase bank is easy to work with or not. also can u do just one debt.

I was just debited $45.95 by Secret Cash Card, apparently in agreeing to an application online i also agreed to a Vurtual Secret Cash Card???????? They have no contact infor that could find, their website gives a number that is only Automated.... Anyway, i went to my bank and filled out an afidavit form to get my money back. Beware of these crooks, make sure you read fine printon everything clearly. I guess their way of stealing from people is including small clauses in contracts and one you agree to one thing they sign you up for the next.
