To start out I've been the victim of many bad room-mates. I moved in with my old landlord to a house I could not afford on my own. After a few months he left the house destroying most of it on his way out. I tried to stay in it as long as I could, but had to take out a small loan to make rent one month when things got backed up. Ever since then I've been trying to play catch up but I have to pay on the loan every time my other bill needed paid. After time and time of trying to catch up I've needed to take out a different loan to pay off the loan before it.

what about this type of loan to lower the interest of payments for credit card interest?

I sent a letter for removal of a credit inquiry. No repsonse. This entry was for a debt way past 7 yr period and out of SOL. How can they post an inquiry when past the 7 years, I want removed. It is my last remaining obstacle after clearing up my CR the last two year. Also the CRA says my name was misspelled by one of the companies, and i must contact them to correct my name to the legal spelling, that the CRA can not remove? Is that so?

Hi, I am new here, and this may have been covered in previous posts, if it has I am sorry to repeat the same question. I will be having a settlement coming and want to clean up the bad marks on my credit to be able to purchase a house. I don't have any active open accounts most all of my derogitory credit is from charge offs. Besides the written letter requesting removal in agreement to pay a reduced amount, what is the best way to deal with COs.

received a call and a letter from Debt collector called National Credit Adjusters in Hutchinson, Kansas. They said I owe money on my master card, they said the will put a lien on my house and car and call my employer to garnish my paycheck. I offered to make monthly payments by sending a money order. They refused they want me to give them my bank account and routing number and they will withdraw the money. I refused to give them my bank account, the person on the other line got upset and said they will see me in court.

Since i couldnt get approved for a loan on Prosper, i now have decided my next step is consolidating my debt. I owe more than $10k in debt of which $1850.00 of it is in in Payday loans. I pay $430.00 a month for payday loan refinancing ($215 EVERY 2 WEEKS). I am due to make $215.00 of it this friday. I want to consolidate before then so i can save money. If anyone knows a legitimate debt consolidation company. please let me know....PLEASE!

BCR has been calling me non-stop for a week now. I told them on Monday to cease and desist and got the address to write them a letter saying the same thing. Yet they keep calling. Who can I report them to for continuing to call after I told them to stop? Can I sue them for this?

I had a car that was repossesed. There is a $7,699 deficiency on this. I just received a court document dated 12/13/06, Request for entry of Default. What can I do from here. CACH, LLC won't deal with me. they want the entire amount now. They won't make payment arrangements. They have called me at my place of employment, even after I've told them it was my place of employment, they sent this court document to my place of employment. I don't want a judgement against me. I was thinking bankruptcy, however I don't know if I can. What should I expect next from the courts?
