I have just changed jobs but cant meet my min. pay ments because lived off these 3 cards since I moved to florida. need to get on some kind of plan . I want to pay off my debt , but not takin over the edge.

In my divorce seven years ago, my ex was given the responsibility of paying off a Discover card, which he did not follow through on. A few months ago, I received a call from Credigy holding me responsible for this debt, which now stands at over $9,000! This is the first I knew it hadn't been paid. Since I was the primary card holder, Credigy reps claim that they can take ME to court for this debt that a judge had ordered my ex to pay. The debt is over 7 years and we are in the state of Missouri. What are my options?

I received a call from Allied speaking about a student loan that I had during college. I made payments on the loan for four years, and even have records of this on my taxes. I lost my job and no longer could get the amounts deducted from my checks. I received a call from allied interstate, and they said that they will take out money from my check with my current job. When I indicated that the money they wanted me to pay per month was too high and I did not agree on how much the loan has accrued; they said I could pay 190.00 per month without it being deducted from my check.

I ended up getting payday loans to help me out of jam. One of the payday company stated they would have a third party involved like the Credit bureau can they do that, after they say they don't do credit checks?
