I am interested in consildating my debt. I have approx $26000 in debt. Can you please inform of my options

I received a letter from this society also, on 12/26/06 stating that my life could change for the better financially, physically, romantically and emotionally, but i had to respond by 12/29/06. And, I did. They returned a 54 page booklet to me with examples of how 5 individuals lives changed after learning "the secret". In order for me to learn it, I had to pay them $139.00. Scam?............hmmmmmmmmm

I have been a member here for a few weeks, i came here to research a payday loan company before accepting a loan. I received allot of responses in regards to my inquiry. Anyway, i am in need of a legitimate loan (YES< I UNDERSTAND YOU ARE NOT LENDERS HERE) but someone must have dealt with atleast one legitimate loan company that wasnt a scam company.

:D Hi Guys and Gals, Just wanted to give the board a short intro about myself. I am not having any debt issues at present. Almost had a problem about two years ago with credit cards so I transferred all of them to a consolidation card and destroyed the cards. Now at present I do not use any credit cards only debit cards. I have some exp. working with collection agencies. One was good,one was horrible. The horrible one was for a friend.

Sorry so many questions I just feel more and more confused. Does anyone know anything about forgetadebt? I got a call from CCCA but I read up on them and I got an uneasy feeling. I am interested in a debt management program and I am having a hard time and I am scared of getting screwed. I have money to pay and just want to get this over with. Please tell me there is light at the end of the tunnel? Another question when researching a company, if they have a satifactory record with BBB and are a member - this is good?

I have been reading the negative posts that seem to go on and on. I would like to start a positive post that would be of help to everyone. I know that many of you have complained to the AG offices of your states. But, have you found out what lobbyists are out there working to shut these people down? If so, could they use your help? Would the people with points be willing to donate them to fund a trip to Washington? The payday loan companies have people working for them in congress. What are the names of senators and congressmen/women who have tried to pass legislation for your state?
