a bill collector aset credit called me about a back dr bill i owe and i was paying 25 a month and missed dec cause of xmas and he called said my monthly money wont be accepted anymore and is taken further actions can they refuse to let you pay monthly payments and do what they wanna do???

Palisades Collection, L.L.C. just wiped out my bank account leaving me $920 in the negative! I had paid them off in March of 2006. They have neglected to ever send me in writing that our agreement has been paid off. Now, I find that they have taken a significant amount out of my bank account (or at least tried until I called Wells Fargo and they stopped the debit). I now have to go back and re-contact these people and prove that I have already paid them! What should I do? How do I get out of this companies loop!?

I lent a former friend $3000.00 with no promisory note. Now every time I call to ask her to repay, she evades my calls. She paid back $500.00 of it 4 yrs ago, but nothing since.

I have had three payday loans in Ohio. On each one I currently have written checks (they require more than one check) for $912.00. So that's a total of 2736! I can renew these loans for 336 and still owe the total of 2736. I have done this numerous times but it's getting to where I can't pay my "regular" bills any more. Can I stop payment on my checks? What legal action will be taken against me? Can I make payment arrangements with anyone?

I have a charge on my from checking account for 9.95 and i did not authorize it. It bounced of course and now i have several bounce check fees due to this. I recieved a call from these people, they threatned me by saying they will put a lein on my house and car. I offered to make the monthly payments by sending a money order check, but they refused they said the want my bank acount number so they can withdraw the money themselves, I refused to give them my bank acount, they said they will see me in court and hung up the phone. any one had any experience with these people what should i do. thanks
