My son was involved in a fight 4 years ago went to court did some jail time and then was sued by the plaintiff to the tune of 12000.00 dollars for medical damages pain and suffering ect. He refused the Lawyer I wanted to get for him. ( which the other kid involved had and skated)No he is leaving college and going to the real world this judgment has of coursed gained intrest and he will be looking for a full time job this is on his credit record and will probably become a garnishment as soon as he begins working I assume it can't go away with a bankruptcy?

I have a few payday loans out. 8 to be exact. Between all the fees being taken out of my checking account I have no moneys for the rest of my bills, let alone paying the things off. I was wondering if it is ok to put a stop payment on all of these and then get a hold of all the loan companies and make arrangements to pay them. I figure that if I did that I could have them all paid off by the end of Feb. Or will this get me in even more trouble? Like could I be taken to jail or will they harrass myself and family/friends/work endlessly?

I have just received a judgment against me from asset acceptance llc and they have put a $6500 lien against my account. This is in regards to a revolving debt I had and was paying faithfully. I had made arrangements (and got it in writing) to settle on this debt in 5 payments. Of those 5, 4 were taken out of my account as agreed, electronically. The 5th one was not deducted.

Everytime I try and change the theme on my blog, the adsense ads disappear. I tried to do it again and the same thing happened and I can't see the ads. I went to my profile on here and reentered the adsense code, but still nothing happens. Can someone please help me? Thanks

Chase has been chasing us with escallating interest rates. Secured a loan with the bank today and need advice to structure a debt settlement letter to pay the least possible to satisfy this debt. Never late and apr went from 6% to almost 30%/.

we have several credit cards and 2 auto loans along with our house payment. How would you suggest we begin starting a ladder to climb our way out of debt?

The loan company name is MTE financil ther is no number to contact them to pay them off and they keep refin. the loan . all my staments say is mte fin. if someone could tell us what to do it would be much app. thanks

I am knee deep in debt and @ least one month behind on all my debt. My wife and I just bought a house in June and are already i month behind also. We took on too much debt than we can afford. We are in the process of selling the house before it goes to foreclosure. I also hav car payments I cannot afford. Do I take the car back to the dealer? I bought it from the dealer just a little over a year ago. How will that work? I never dreamt of getting to this point and putting my family through some rough times. Can anyone out there identify with me and is there light @ the end of the tunnel?
