i started debt right when i turned 18 and it has snowballed from there i kept gettin credit cards and spending like ntohing. i am so far in debt today at age 26 that i have aready thought about bankrupcy. i need help and quick.

i just received a summons with LVNV as the plaintif.this is about a sears account i had been paying off to NAFS until they stopped sending my monthly statement.is it too late to request a DV?should i go ahead and file a response and then try to work out a payment arrangement? i cant afford a lawyer.i could sure use some good advice.

I have a credit account on my CR that is reporting as a charge off. On the other hand, I am getting calls and letters from NCO regarding it. I looked on the web and found that the SOL for NC is 3 years on open accounts. Also on my CR, it is showing 30 days late as of OCT 2003, so wouldn't it be out of the SOL in OCT 2006?? If so, will I be able to get it to change anything on my CR or will it still affect my credit?? Also, need help with fixing a letter for NCO to get them to stop harassing me...HELP......

What are you trying to take from my bank account and why?

In 1998 I started receiving calls from collection agency. At first I just blew it off that they had the wrong person because I pay my bills and had never ever had a collection agency call me. After trying to explain to them it wasn't me I finally contacted an attorney who wrote to them and also I contacted the credit bureau. Thought everything had been taken care of. In 2000 once again another collection agency started calling.. Same account from 1998. I found out the first collection agency sold to 2nd collection agency. So my attorney sent information to them. Everything was fine till now.
