Good Afternoon,I've been receiving phones calls from a Kimberly Lewis what states she is a private investigator..states that I need to call Captial Harris or else she I will be served with papers. She constantly calls and leaves threats at the office that she will be sending papers to the legal department where I work...She never leaves her contact information. Also when I ask her who is looking for me she cannot give that information out. She continues to leave threaten information with who ever answers the phone. Please advise

Hello, I live in Md and back in May I took out a payday loan with GTI holdings for $200 after a week I started receiving unauthorized charges to my account so I closed the account. However I sent GTI holdings a email stating the issue and that I would pay a one time payment in June. Needless to say I read alot of your blogs on this site and received knowledge that these loans are illegal and so I sent them another letter stating that the loan was illegal and null in void at this point.

My attorney has told me that there is a 5 year statue of limitation on a property where there is no bank able to claim title. Is this true. We are not in foreclosure, no bank has claimed the ability to foreclose and we have changed hands 3 times since "08". We have a completed securitization looking at where this loan has gone, inclusive of Countrywide. Your thoughts please.

Last Monday I received a letter saying my bank account was being seized and on Tuesday it was. The attorney refused to give me any information, I never received anything to go to court. The only thing they told me was it was for HSBC. I contacted HSBC and it was for a secured credit card which was closed and charged off in 2004 and sold to a third party. HSBC claims they received a $23.00 payment in 2004 and that was the last activity. Can the third party seize my bank account without me going to court? Is there any other action they can take?

a few months ago after reporting my neighbor upstairs for load music, vommiting, druken behavior, and reporting to management that the illicet drug use and prositution that consumes this place after darkfall, management offered to let me out my lease, signed off on it stating mr mikey"" will not be held liable for move out cost or remander of lease, have the conversation taped, and have my deposits returned. the problem is now im filing bankruptcy and found a 5,000 dollar balanc owed on credit report, obviously they are commiting fraud and i can prove it. how do i go about it? I did receive a summons to appear in court for a credit card debit that I owe and I will file an answer, but am not able to appear in court due to I just started a new job and cannot get the time off to appear in court. I am planning on filing bankruptcy and will include this debt in with 2 other credit card debts that I have. I know that I will get a default judgment against me for not showing up, but what is the outcome of a default judgment?
