my mortgage company gave out all my personal information to a relative on the phone about my mortgage . then later asked if i could send them a lettter stating i gave them permission to do so. i never gave permission, but i have a letter from them asking for it after the fact , can i sue them under the privacy act. this has cused me many problems.

My debt is all from cell phone companies. Sprint and Verizon are about five hundred, to six hundred each. I owe on my credit report about 1,100 USD, and my credit score is a 511. I want to fix this.

Solicitation of a post dated check is against the law, so if you do one over the phone and it bounces, the CA can not prosicute. I worked for a CA that told people that they would prosicute on the worthless check, but a post dated check is just that. So if a CA tells you that they have to have one, you tell them no.

Well - I just got an e-mail these people, and they are in the process of cutting me a check for the money that I paid them over and above the original debt and resonable finance charges!! HOO WHOO AND WOOP-D-DOO!!

I was searching for a loan consolidation company and I came across your site. I have to gain control TODAY...I've been on the payday loan treadmill since September'06 and this past Friday my bank took my whole paycheck from my savings and applied it to my negative checking balance. My pay date is listed as 12/29/06. Cause of the New Years Hoilday, it won't be ready to pay until 01/02/07. I am paid by US Govt and can't control paydays. New Years day is a holiday. work it out for me. If I can make payments on a time basis I need 1700.
