Anyone still dealing with bass and associates?

Midland Credit Mgmt is listed on my credit report as of Nov 2006. The origial creditor was an auto finance company that repossed the car in Mar 2006. How is that possible? I have since purchased 2 vehicles with no problem. Why is Midland suddenly showing up on my credit report and what makes anyone think that I intend to pay for a vehicle that I no longer have possession of?

What does GEMB/MTD Power Card on a credit report mean? Who are they?

I have filed a complaint with my Attorney General and Department of Finance about overpayment of fees for IPDL's that are not licensed to do business in my state. 3 of my 5 have marked a zero balance , but I am going after a refund. The other 2, Route 66 and US Fast Cash will not zero out even though I have paid more than principal many times over. I am going after a decision and a refund from them. Can anyone share their experience and how long it took to hear from AG or DOF?

Roughly a month ago I contacted a representative from Debt Advocates of America about debt consolidation. At that time I was sent a packet of information from your Luftman, Heck and Associates. After discussing the consolidation process with my wife (over the Thanksgiving Weekend) we came to the conclusion that I we were not interested in this particular type of debt consolidation. On Monday November 27th I contacted a representative from Luftman, Heck and informed him of our decision. He was very understanding and seemed genially concerned over our plight.

I usually read this website daily and I find alot of good information, so today I decided to register.

Do I have to give up all my cards? Can I combine the high interest ones only? I no longer shop like I used to I just no longer spend .

When I was a kid, money was always tight, especially around the holidays. My brother and I were always trying to figure out what we could do to make money or how we could make something to give as Christmas presents. We would start in October thinking about the upcoming holidays. One year we took empty cans, painted them and added stickers and made pencil holders to give our aunts for Christmas. Not real original, but we thought it was good idea. We took all of our old toys and games and held a toy sale in our front yard.

I have a acct with these guys that is charged off on my CR. I have paid a payment with them and have 2 more to go. I don't understand why the payment isn't showing on my CR?? They said that it will not show until I pay the balance and they report it to the original creditor. Shouldn't they report everytime I make a payment?? And shouldn't that show up on my CR??
