I owe citi card 3900.00. I talked to them about a program that I could afford and all they offered me was 3 payments of 336.00 each. I cant afford this. What would my next step be?

I recently applied for a Red Card debit card in one of Target stores. Some of information submitted was inaccurate but I was not able to fix it in the store and was told to contact the bank. The address of my debit card was never a mailing address and I don't live in that area now. I need for the address to be changed to [COLOR="Red"] [personal information removed for your protection] ~OG[/COLOR]

Quick question: I received a letter claiming I will be garnished in 30 days from my present employer, I owe 1410 on a federal loan, and they are going to take out 15 percent. The thing is, i'm moving 1500 miles away, out of state, working a new job. Will they have to send me another letter of an intent to garnish; will they be able to find me? Any help is much appreciated.

Okay....here is the situation. I filed BK7 in March of 2011 and it was discharged in June 2011. At the time, I was working in a department at my current job that made more money and so I reaffirmed my $17,000 car loan (that was 23% might I add). Well, fast forward to June of this year....I have had to take a paycut to the tune of $1.16 due to my transferring to a different department due to family health obligations. With this being said, I can no longer afford the $400/month payments that I had a year ago.

Hi SoapLady. I too would appreciate advice. I have a student loan, by now $60K with interest. (took out $20K loan in 1983). I have tried during the years to deal with this as I never profited from my so-called education. Still, I was naive -- my fault. I hoped to do an offer-in-compromise but never could deal with an actual person with the authority to offer this. A lawyer asked me, are you being sued? I said no. He then said, when you are being sued, you will then have someone to deal with!

I noticed that a year ago it shows a personal loan for LVNV Funding. It is adding interest. Can they purchase an account that has been charged off and then start adding interest on top of it.

I just checked my credit score and I don't have anything to do with firstsource, I have never even heard of them. They caused my credit score to decline more than 50 points. How do I solve this problem?

These people called (my elderly mother in law) to say they were a lawyers & was getting sued on a debt. They had my m-i-law name & SS #, my # & someones elses address. I then calmed her down & said give me the info & i'll call them. Talked to a person named Jill, she claimed we were getting sued over a water bill. I said well I live in this area & we dont have a water bill. ( E/G/W/Sewer are rolled into one) Though our city, after doing my homework found that the debt was an old electric bill from some renters of mine. I said I would take responsibility of the debt but want "proof of debt".
