I am in no way trying to ditch these guys, I just got scared and did not want to become a victim of being overcharged.

i had a fine which became delinquint over a year ago and i want to pay it off but i cant find the collection agency that i owe

I kept getting automated calls to call Alliance One. To make a long story short I finally got a hold of someone (wish I hadn't now :x ) and they told me they are collecting for 3 medical bills from 2001-2002, 2 for about $800 apiece and 1 for $160. I told them I didn't think they were mine. She said, "well they have all your information." SO? Anyway asked for something in writing. I got to thinking this sounded vaguely familiar. Went through my old paperwork and found letters from them from 2003 collecting on these.

My Story...I actually somehow managed to stumble across this website...and it and the people have been very helpful to me...Especially Ashley2006 and kyside38...I was in a mojor payday loan rut...I did finally get all of them paid off myself...then I found this website and was informed by everyone what these payday loan companys were doing...or shall I say not doing..follow state laws...I had no idea any of this until I ended up here. So far I have been refunded by two companies 209.00 from one and 1268.00 from another.
