Does anyone know the laws regarding PDL for Illinois - can all online lenders lend to IL residents? How about PDL store fronts - do they have a cap on intersest allowed for installments?

Earlier this year I had to have a couple of wisdom teeth removed, but my company insurance didn't cover the anastisa which i had to pay that day which was close to $500. I got behind on my car payment, and the rest of my bills, because that was better then a weeks pay for me, plus I had to buy my meds. which Thank God I have good insurance/copay... But from having to do that checks started bouncing, my checking account was getting lower and lower. There was no one to go to.

Who out there is willing to show your age? Who remembers Twigbees? I remember as a child, my sisters, brother, mom, dad and I going into Higbees and seeing all the lights and decorations. In front of Twigbees, there was some sort of ride. I don't remember if it was a merry-go-round or train ride or what, but I remember it was a lot of fun. We would go on the ride as either my mom or dad held our places in line. Once we got into Twigbees (for those of our "younger set," this was a little store inside a store where children could shop for their relatives/friends, etc., by themselves.
