Northway debit just took $254 twice in the same day out of my checking account. Why? And who the hell are they?

A pay day loan company sent a letter to my pay roll department asking them to garnish my wages in the amount of $350.00 to pay the loan off. This pay day loan company was aninternet pay day loan company and they are not licensed in the state of california. I want to write this pay day loan company a letter but what should I say. I told them they were on a recorded line and I asked them if they were licensed in the state of california and they said they are a global and the are licensed on the internet. what can I get them to do to stop sending these letters to my job.

I love it when a plan works...check out this email that I got(After speaking with my supervisor he has agreed to just put this to rest and save the headache. Please understand that if you have any other loans you should read your agreements more carefully.) I did email back asking if this was to mean that my account would be marked "paid in full" and no further collections would take place. This company I have went back and forth with for weeks. So I have 5 more to go.. Thanks to you guys you rock..I could not have done this without this site.

Credit Consultants is the name of the debt settlement company I am working with. There are apparently several different companies with the same name. This one has the logo with the road on it and yellow and blue lettering for the name. Has anyone dealt with this company? I havent had bad luck with them, it just seems to be taking forever to get the creditors to quit calling and they all say they havent recieved a proposal yet.
