Hi all - I just found out why I keep receiving credit card offers at my address in my ex-husband's name. Apparently his SSN is showing up on my credit report for some reason. Is there a letter on the site somewhere that someone has created that I can send to all the credit bureaus to make them aware that this SSN is not associated with me? I am worried that any credit problems he may have would show up on my report, since his SSN is showing up there. We have been divorced for quite some time, and I don't know how this number got on there. Thanks.

I recieved a letter from First National Collection Bureau, Inc. which states that they are trying to collect $87.37 for an old Fashion Bug account and includes the account #. I don't know if I should pay the account or not since this account is 10 years old and not on my credit report anymore?

Is a thorn in my side. My problem is a check that I wrote. I haven't paid it yet. They were such jack***es about it when they called. Somebody tell me what do I do from here? I plan to pay it as soon as I get the money, but they told me that they would only accept western union moneygram or credit card or check by phone. I don't have any of that right this minute. HELP
