had a credit card from a previous marriage. A debt collection company Asset Acceptance obtained a default judgement against us in Ohio. We have lived in Florida for the past five years. They are trying to garnish my wifes wages. All notifications were sent to an old address in Ohio even though our credit report had our correct address in Florida. The more complaints, the lawyers will investigate. The FTC only addressess class action law suits, therefore for this company you cannot have e-signed an agreement to particpate, and can PROVE that you did not sign an e-agreement. PLZ HELP in shutting this predatory loan company down!!

hi, I'm trying to get rid of my accumilated debt but I just want to make one payment to one place instead of writing checks to different companies. Is there a program that will allow me to write one or two checks a month to a company and they distribute the necessary funds to whomever needs to payed?

I am an overspender until now. In March 2006 I was rushed to the ER with a Widow-maker Heart Attack. I was 25 at the time. My Psychiatrist misdiagnosed me with ADHD and prescribed me to Adderall. He kept upping the dosage of this dangerous medication along with putting me on meds for anxiety. He never looked at the interaction with the Adderall and the other meds I was prescribed from other Doctors before seeing him. Within 4 months, I lost 50 pounds, and had all 8 symtoms of a woman's heart attack. I ignored the signs and blamed them on other things.

My story is i have medical bills unpaid... And we my ex-husband and i split i had 3-4 credit cards i couldn't pay even the minimum i had two jobs it went to collections and now as i have gotton on my feet they want large lump sums only!!! My new husband has alot of credit card debt from before him and i!! We would like to combine them and pay one payment!!

I was involved in an accident which I was admitted to a hospital and surgery. A few months later, I received a letter from the Collection Agency requesting me to pay $4800. I called them and explained to them I had insurance with my mother(which later I found out I wasn't covered, because I was out of school). So I proceeded to contact the person's homeowner's insurance at which the accident happened. The homeowner insurance paid the debt collection agency $5000.00 (which is the limit for the insurance). Now, the agency is harrassing me to pay them more money.

I obtained a pday laon from gfsil, my plan was to pay the laon off in 2 weeks, however they have been debiting my acct every week. They even debited my account early (not authorized) there excuse was that it was because of a holliday. Needless to say the debit beat my check to the bank. I called them and they stated they would not charge me a return fee and give a discount. However, they tried to debit my acct 3 times in one week. I went to my bank and explained the situation. My bank advised that these companies go by sev names. So the bank froze the account and opened me another.

I need help! I am tired of the collectors calling and i can't give them what i don't really have.

:shock: ... Errr.. um.. Help! Ok, so I took out a $300 loan from these guys last week and my due date is 12/8/06 to pay $390 total. Well, the customer service reps say that I should call on 12/5/06 to verify that I want to pay in full rather than 'extend' the loan. I'm afraid that they'll give me the run around and keep debiting my account. What can I do to protect myself?? Reading this forum has me spooked.

I have not recieved any paper saying that Pallisades has taken over my account.This account is 2 1/2 years old. I have not recieved anything from these people saying anything. Now they have KD my credit report 3 times, is that legal
