My wife is presently being sued by MLH Group, LLC and represented by Cramer, Haber & McDonald, P.A. As far as I can tell, these two are one in the same (i.e, Cramer, Haber & McDonald simply registered as MLH Group and then hire themselves). I looked through my wife's credit report and noticed that Cramer, Haber & McDonald obtained a copy of the report two times. The credit report states that "... inquires were generated because you authorized the companies listed to request a copy of your credit report". However, my wife never authorized such. What is the best recourse here?

Hi Fellow Consumers, I lost my income in February (06), and for the ensueing months was unable to do more than pay the rent (sometimes I had to borrow it from my son), buy food and my meds (I also lost my medical insurance in Oct. 05). I was consulting, but unable to get meaningful contracts, and couldn\'t find a job in or out of my field. Prior to losing my income, I paid my eight (8) credit card bills on time - always paying substantially more than the minimum. I also kept paying for the insurance offered by the credit card companies in case of lost of work, illness, etc.

I got a pdl off the internet and was unable to pay. I lived in ohio at the time. Now I am living in N. Carolina. Can I go to jail if I don't pay off this debt. I am going to declare bankruptcy in Feb.

OK, the people at GFSIL, and I use that term loosley are absolutely nuts. My friend has gotten rid of 4 pdl's but this one is something else. She got a $200.00 loan from them about 14 months ago and paid it off after 6 rollover charges of 75.00 each. This year she made the same mistake most of us here have made and got involved with the 4 she has gotten rid of with the help I found on this forum, and GFSIL. She got the loan from them 10/4/06 and because she closed her ck account and opened a new one, they were unable to get even one rollover payment.

Hi, this is Patricia Booth again i know i told you on 11/20/06 to go ahead and take the $260.00 but i have written before i received my paycheck and it was a little lower than i expected so please stick to the orginal and take the $140.00 and not the $260.00 and hopefully by the next payment date i can pay the loan off...............thanks
