My question is about statute of limitations and collections. I found something online saying that it is 4 years for a judgemnt in my state. Well the debt has been over 4 years so as I understand the original creditor or any collection agency can not sue for the amount. The bill was from 2000 and went unpaid as of very late 2000 or early 2001 but on the credit reports it says 2002 and again 2006 payments were made, they were not. ACS is the 4th collection agency that has had their hands on this so it seems to keep getting validated.

i am buried in little credit cards,i lost my job.now i have creditors hitting my savings witch has no money in it.i start a new job on monday.my checks have to go into account.voulchers are waiting what can i do so i can pay my bills to save my home.

Can someone tell me what a civil collection is? I was reading our local county newspaper and saw my name under civil collections with Credigy Receivable Inc. The problem is I have no idea who they are and what they are collecting for. Any informaton would be appreciated. Thanks!

I received a call from someone named Sonny Patterson He said it was extremely important he let me know that documents was being download on me at 6pm in Harris County TX. for bank fraud, check fraud, internet fraud because of two pdl I have defaulted on. He asked me if I was on probation and if I was I needed to notify my probation officer and I also needed to contact my attorney if I had one. He even told me the case numbers he said was being downloaded. This guy was talking so fast that I couldn't get a word in edge wise.

I am looking for any contact informantion on a payday loan company that debits under POWER FUNDING. I want to pay it off, but can't get ahold of them or even find them. I've called my bank, googled them, yellow pages, and come up with nothing. Thank you
