I want to get a debt consolidation loan for all my debts. I got a quote for $30,000 @ 10.15% for 15 yrs, which pays off all of my debts. But I read thru the paperwork and it state that it may be a payoff early penalty and will not be entitled to a refund of part of the finance charge. Is this a good loan to sign off on?

My 20 year old son has gotten himself into quite a mess! Thinking that he knows so much (as most 20 year olds do) he decided he would go to a used car dealer and buy a car. They sent him to the bank for a loan and this was granted to him. He had a poor work history and only been at his job for 2 weeks and they still gave him the loan and the car.
