ok, if you have a contract with a loan provider and authorize your account be debited on a certain day, can they debit any other time then the day you authorized them to?

I am being pursued by Procollect of Dallas, Texas regarding a non-payment on an apartment lease that was coordinated by my previous employer. The employer paid via credit card when we moved in but refused to pay the last months rent. We were living in Midland, Tx at the time but are now in Oklahoma City, OK Procollect has called a few times and has reported this collection item to the credit bureaus. Well like many other emails you guys receive this probably won't stray from the rest. As a young adult I had gotten my first cards and went wild. Heck I was 18, young dumb and unexperienced about life. Luckily I was able to not dig to deep of a hole and was able to get myself out of it. However, as I got older, moved out, got a car, was buying stupid things that actually started me going through the ringer that life can be when you are uneducated about the responsibilities in the real world.
