can I consolidate my car loan (secure) with my credit cards loans (unsecure)?

I have a question. I keep getting a call from a Universal Fidelity at 614-789-4825. When I have answered the phone they are looking for a chiropratic firm. I have told them repeatadly, that the phone number is a residental number. They will not quit calling me. I have filed a complaint with the BBB, but they have not responded to the complaint yet. I am wondering if I should take this to a JAG attorney at the local base to get help? I am tired of wasting my time and running to the phone every time they call. I run everytime because my spouse is deployed and I think it's him.

I have been paying for myself since I was 16 years old, constantly working one to three jobs at a time just to pay my tuition. Unfortunately the cost of books and my family's financial needs left me with next to no money at all and I had to take out several credit cards to pay my tuition. I paid off all of them but one and it has the worst apr ever. Every month I pay at least 75 into it and they take 55 for fees so I can never make headway. On top of that my car is breaking down and my cat needs $700 worth of vet care for his asthma/infection in his mouth.

I received a summons from a process server tonight from attorneys representing this company. While we have been negotiating debt settlements with our other creditors (and have settled half of them), this is the first time we have ever been contacted by Palisades - a summons, we've never gotten a letter or phone call from them. Can a collection agency take us to court without attempting to contact us first?

Is there any way to consolidate my credit cards so I have one monthly payment but it doesn't close out any of my accounts?

I have done so much reading it's helped a lot! However, I am unsure of what to do next. I closed out account and opened a new one. We(husband and I) have a few loans outstanding some of which are to be debited tomorrow. What do I do now? Should I contact them and tell them they've loaned to me illegally, or should I wait for them to contact me? I'm more worried about Sonic and Route 66 hounding me at work. I'm reading about Sonic and their wage garnishments. Should I send them a letter to revoke that?

I am about 45,000 in debt in credit cards, store credit and in auto credit as well. I am looking for a fresh start. My credit is not good as of now but I am trying to get back on my feet and I need a little bit of help while doing so. Hello Guys, Your site is great. I have a problem. I wonder can you guys advise me. I had a charge card account with Banana Republic. I was disputing a charge on the card but before it was resolved, they sold the debt to Arrow Financial. As no-one could produce proof of my credit card purchase, Arrow Financial dropped the pursuit of the debt. However, on my credit report Banana Republic through GEMB still has a "charge off/collection/derogatory" notice on the debt which is listed as sold.

Which collection agency handles Wachovia Bank? They told me that they were from the attorneys office. They didn't say which one though.

Does anyone have an idea of who this is? I have searched for it on the web, but have been unable to find anything. Thanks.
