Hello is anyone still on here. Oh well To the expects please. I have the same situation as RM. I just pulled my credit report and found a debt to midland credit management (whom I don't know). In my CBR I can see the account number listed as starting with Assciates. My account with Associates did go into write-off sometime in 2002. Midland has never contacted me and the balance on my account was about $1200 when it went into write-off but the balance as of Nov 2006 CBR is approximately $2000.

I called ACA Recovery. The lady with whom I have contact with told me that they want to settle with me for $425 but she still thought that was too high. She said taht the company has agreed to work out a monthly payment plan with me. Each month, I pay them $50-$75 a month until the $425 is paid in full. She was very nice and cordial with me. She is also sending me the arrangment by mail and I told her as soon as I receive the arrangement, they would get a money order.

Can someone call and find out whose number this is? (502) 261-1020. I know this is a Kentucky number because I looked up the area code. The recorded message left last night said it was the office of Kim Rogers and they needed a call back regarding an important business matter (Collection Call). I tried blocking my number and calling this morning to see if they'd answer with the name of the company, but the lady that answered just said, "This is Kim..." I did a search on the BBB website using the above number and no results came up.

I thought of mailing this letter with the money order and also faxing a copy of the letter with a copy of the money order to them. matercard bill charged off. Sent to a collection agency. They are demanding 30% of the amount be paid now with the rest to follow in the next to months. Offered to make payment arrangements pay something every month that we can afford told no. Told would be sent to court.
