Isn't it bad, when the people they recommend and call you are only intrested in getting you further into debt, I could not afford the $200... now it seems ive lost it.

How old can a debt before collection is no longer possible?

I can't find my question - so hopefully I can post it here and get the answer I need - i received a e-mail today from one of my pdls with an attachment to read to close out my account with them, since I overpaid them anyway - but I can't get the attachment to open - it is a dat file 46 kb - when I try and open it in adobe - it says to large a file and if I try in internet explorer nothing happens - I want to get this attachment so I can read over it and then close my account with them.. How do I get the attachment to open... thanks

I had a call last night.. and i would have talked to them but the conversation started with Guy Is this (My Name) Me Yes Guy is your address My Address Me I am not confirming my address or anything else Who is calling please.. Guy.. It is in yor best intrest to answer.. Me NO... please mail me anything you need to me to know HE HUNG UP... I live alone and was not about to confirm my address or anything else do I have to confirm information on the phone when they call me.. i thought this was a bad idea.. even if they are giving the info..

collectors are calling and trying to get me to pay for something I never had. I had a business that had an phone/internet contract for 2 years, but I went out of business in less than one year which was not anticipated. Since the contract was for two years, they are trying to make me pay for the one year that was left on my contract. I do realize that I signed the contract, but how valid is their claim?? It's not as if this was a loan. I never borrowed money from them so technically, they never lost money. Is their case a weaker case because it is not a true defaulted loan?

I currently have around $9000 in credit card and student loans debt. I would like to consolidate this into one payment to help make management easier and to get this debt paid off quickly.

Ok a few months ago I was in need of some quick cash so I applied for payday loans at several sites, the problem was I thought they would come back to me and verify information before processing my application, I ended up with 6 payday loans going thru the next day into my account. Instead of saving that extra I ended up using it on other bills. From that point it has gotten worse, I am spending now $900 everytwo weeks just in finance charges.

This morning I recieved an email from USACashExpress telling me there was a problem with my checking account and I needed to call them asap. Having no idea who these people were I replied back saying I'm no falling for this. is it true that they pay off the creditors then you pay them???? like a loan
