How can collectors make threats to someone who does not owe a debt?

HELP! I have close to $2500.00 in payday advance loans and cannot afford to pay them all. I am so upset about it that I had a nervous breakdown this morning. I have been working with some creditors to try and make partial payment arrangements, but most of them will not do it. What can I do? I got caught in a bad situation and I'm having a terribly difficult time getting out of it and I am the mother of two children and married. My husband is a stay at home dad because we cannot afford daycare or a babysitter.

has anyone used this? educationregistry.com It is a student loan gift registry for weddings etc. Do you feel that this is tacky or could a good cause instigate bigger wedding gifts etc.

The story is simple. I had a full time job, 20k a year decent for a kid right out of college. Stayed thier for 3 years till i decided to go back to school in a different state. Well got here and tried to find a job but no one was replies. Finally i got a job after being down at school for 6 months, only to find out my boss was giving me a terrible reference, so 6 months worth of credit card usage without really paying much of it off is where i sit today. since then its just been snowballing.

I am in Ohio and feel everyone elsebut none of mine are over the internet. I never thought I would find anyone out there who could sympathize with me but now I have. I just hope I don't get arrested when I tell them I am off on medical leave and am not going to get any money. What do I do?

I wrote a check and it was processed thru telecheck. I realized that the amount had not been taken from my account. Weeks later I received a call from telecheck saying that they paid the vendor and that if i didn't give them my correct bank account number then they would restrict my check writing privileges. i didn't give my information out over the phone because it sounded strange. i've had this account for years and have never had any problems.

does anyone know who or what this company is as they are on my credit report as it shows i have an open account with them and have been making payments for a year but i have no idea who this company is and i dont pay the amount to anyone that the report says im paying
