I had an account with express in 2000 I have already paid it off in full. This mess is still on my credit report which is a major inconvience b/c I am trying to get a house. I would like a phone number or something so I can get in contact with someone about this matter ASAP! This needs to be removed. I also need a letter saying that I paid it in full. I have my official receipt from the store, that I paid it off.

I have 8 payday loans and I am seeking help for this but, I would just like to know if my credit score will be affected by having a debt settlement agreement with the wonderful people I am currently signing a contract with. I am in Southern California and due to the several posts that I've read, I do not want to deal with phone calls harrassing any of my coworkers, bosses, friends or family should any of these PDLs reaact before the debt settlement starts. My wife gets calls from this Academy Services daily about a debt she could not have made. How do I stop this company from calling every day?

My employer called me today. She recieved a wage assignment from Cash Transfer Centers, said she never saw one before. I explained that a wage assignment is strictly voluntary and I do not authorize her to deduct any money from my pay check. She said she is going to take it to their legal department and I told her I would report it to the Attorney Generals Office. I have already printed out a copy of my account status from their website..balance zero, and an e-mail i recieved from them stating that since my account is paid in full I am elligible to take out a new loan.

Hello, My wife (girlfriend at the time) incurred a medical charge when she did not have insurance. On a Sunday morning at 5am she called me. Her throat was swollen and hurt so much she could not swallow and had trouble breathing. The only option we had was the emergency room. Without insurance, we were worried about the cost and told the attending nurse as much.

I see Midland Credit MG on my credit report and I would like to see what this matter is so I can clear it up.

I'm asking this question for my Cousin who lives in Iowa. Is there anyway to stop a wage garnishment without filing for bankruptcy. My cousing received a phone call from midland funding llc debt collector on Friday saying they were going to proceed with the garnishment, but if she was able to make arrangements please give them a call. Well she was going to call them the folloing Monday and when she got her check that Monday 200 was gone for the garnishment. She knew they were trying to sue her but things kept getting held up because the Midland Company didn't have their stuff together.

I want to know is wage garnishment legal in the Metro DC area? I work in Virginia and I live in Maryland. I've tried to talk to these people but the guy that I was speaking with in regards to making arrangements to pay off this damn thing just kept getting rude each and every time. Plus he would call me on my job and constantly harrass me about paying back the loan in which I was trying to make arrangements with him about. Will someone please send me an answer. This is really bothering me.
