As I sit here trying to help my sister get out of the payday loan mess she is in, i am sick to my stomach. She knew darn well what she was getting into when she did this. She knew about the interest rates, how much they would take out of her bank, etc, etc. She admited as much. But, now as she reads these forums, she thinks she is a victim. You people make it sound like you are all poor innocent victims turned super heros trying to fight the mean payday loan guys. Granted, they are sharks, but you all just horrified about how they took your money.

i need help ansering a summons. I received the summons from unifund and never received any type of letter from them prior to this so I could not ask for a debt validation. They are asking for payment on an old credit card account that has had no activity since 12-2001. Doesn't that meet the statute of limitations regarding collections in the state of Nevada?
