YAY! I had already requested off work to go to Cincinatti on the 26th and 27th. (Going to see my 2 favorite bands--Jeremy Camp and Kutless. Yippee) Well, my regular 2 days off are the 24th and 25th..So that gives me 4 days off! :shock: So Chris and I decided yesterday morning that we'd take a trip!

original debt is $4800 in 1997. Now the collection agency is asking me to pay $21000 to release the lien of my property. is that right calculation under the California Law? do i have to pay only to collection agency? or can i pay to orgianl creditor?

I need some help consolidating some payday loans and getting my utilities caught up as I am about to lose them, in which case I cannot work, as I work from home. Can anyone please help me? Thank you!!!

Without going into a long story, I took out 7 payday loans last year. Of course I could not pay them all back so I closed my bank account. I contacted all of the lenders and have paid them all back. I am now getting a phone call from someone called Bass and Associates saying that they have 3Affidavits sitting on their desk waiting to be filed for internet fraud among other things. I am scared to death but at the same time I know I paid them off and have proof of who was paid for what. What do I tell these people?

Hi, I got myself into a bit of a bind, with three credit card companies ...I had there cards used them and paid them, then about 5-6 months ago I got sick, had to take time of work had massive medical bills that killed all my savings, I know owe these cards around $2500 they never stop calling, when I offer them what I can afford its never enough, im not sleeping at night and want to get this debt off, what can I do, can anyone recommend anything. I really need some good solid advice tonight on who to go with for my payday loans. I have been reading & reading,till i think i'm going blind. I need to make a decision between langhorne law and T&C. The only thing i do know is i need to close my checking account and open a new one. I am so scared right now. I really need some good advice.I've heard good and bad for both ,and maybe it doesn't matter,but i know some of you have had experience with them. Is there anyone who is with Langhorne right now? In 2003 I defaulted on a credit card due to personal financial difficulties. Although I was enrolled in a debt settlement program,the monthly fees were equal to my "payment". I just wasn't able to continue to pay money to a nonpofit group,thus getting myself deeper in debt. I paid off several cards on my own but was unable to totally pay off one. Each time they called at my work they demanded a check by phone and like a fool,I did so. They told me they would have my job,get my car, and that I would never be able to borrow money again.
