I have been harrassed by this company and actually had to call the police to conference them to get them to quit. Crazy...I hope that this company closes down..they have no business operating. I have never had to deal with a creditor like this to where it was enough harrassment to call the police!

These people are horrible. They have no idea who they are calling and when you ask them to validate any supposed debt, they tell you they don't have to, just pay up! I have no clue who they are looking for, but it's not me. They continue to harass me when I've asked them politely to quite calling. I believe they purchase old debts, then try to make you on the other end pay under threat and harassment. They are not operating under the law and everyone needs to report them to their Att. General and file complaint under the FDCPA. These people are idiots and extremely unprofessional.

I got a notice in the mail today that a stop payment was put on this check for payment from May 2. Yes I was late cashing it by about 5 days but I do not get to the bank that often. Also, these checks never arrive when they are suppose to....mine are usually 1-2 weeks behind when then should be arriving. God help anyone who uses this bank for bill pay. Plus I now have a $12 returned check fee.

I lived in an apartment complex a couple years ago (in 2009 and 2010-moved out between the two and finally moved out in 2010). The manager of the apartment complex charged us some odd amount for cleaning fees in 2009 when we moved but NEVER sent us a bill. When we moved in in 2010 (we didn't have knowledge of the collection she sent for 2009) we paid those cleaning fees because that was part of being able to rent another apartment. In 2010 after we moved out again, we checked out credit and saw the two items on there.

I have a question. I received a call from a lawyers office claiming that they picked up a pay day loan that I defaulted on back in 1/19/12. They had the last four digits of my chking acct number. I have not defaulted on my pay day loans. They told me the name of their company (Simmons, Smith and Associates) and gave me the address of their headquarters office in Houston, TX because I wanted to verify them with the BBB. When I called and looked them up they are not listed.

Please help me with what to do. I have 7 payday loans out and my paycheck will not even cover the interest. I am at my wits end and need your help and advice terribly.

Well, I guess it has officially begun and I don't mind telling you all that I am a bit scared of the process. Just got a message on my phone from Frontline Recovery Assets Agency? 877-906-8903. I called them back and gave them the file number that they left in the message and the guy on the phone was rude and arguementative. The company they are collecting for is CashYes.com. He gave me the line about since I went on the Internet and electronically signed the document that I was bound by Beliz law.

I have about 3500 in payday loans and I live in NJ. I actually posed this question earlier today about consolidation, but I was not registered, and I can't find that post now. Any help about a reliable consolidation company or how I can take care of this debt would be greatly appreciated.
