Hi. I have been dealing with PDL loans (3 of which were not licensed). I have paid enough interest on all three to pay the principal and more. I reported them to the AG's office, who referred the case to the Ohio Dept. of Commerce, Division of Financial Institutions. I told them that the companies were not licensed in Ohio and that I had paid more than the principal in fees and that I wanted them to mark the accounts Paid in Full.

I have decided that debt settlement is the route I must take after doing a lot of research. I have talked with a lot of companies and have weeded down to two. Hoffman Brinker & Kenneday and American Liberty Financial. Has anyone worked with them and if so how was the experience? Hello, I found this site while looking for debt relief answers. I live in California and have 3 payday loans, Paragon, Net Cash and Arrowhead Investments. I went to the bank yesterday and explained to them the problems I had created for myself. They were helpful and we decided I should close the account and open a new one, so thats done. I don't know what to do next.

My second grader had this story problem on his math homework. He figured it out pretty quickly, but I have to confess, I struggled a little bit. I think my boy thinks I must be dense..But I'm consoling myself by remembering that he is mathmatically inclined, and it's been a long time since I've done math at this level.
