I signed up with Sallie Mae, For financial aid and they told me that the first year we didn't have to pay so thats what I did and I skipped a month and I was getting charged full price and now after two years we got a letter and they said we wouldn't stop paying for atleast 10 years or $13,000 dollars later wich I only took out $8100.00. I asked how much we have payed off so far and it acctually went up from 8100.00 to 8900.00 in two years so I don't know what to do I can't pay for another class or try to get a lone for a car or anything. Please let me know if I have any options.

I am getting "blocked" calls on my new office number: saturday eve at 10 p.m., and three within 1-1/2 hours on sunday morning (no message left). Do collection agencies typically call so late on a saturday and early on a sunday?

I recently went through a messy divorce where I lost everything. I was on depression meds, seeing a conselor and having stress related health problems that made my medical bills skyrocket, forcing me into debt with creditors, and into forclosure on my home. I am trying on my own to get the debts paid, but it is alot harder than I thought.

Has anyone heard or dealt with this debt settlement company? I looked them up in the BBB but they are not a memeber. I had a 300$ loan with Geneva Roth Financial that I defaulted on. The finance fee was 90$, which was all that I ever paid (over a number of pay periods, so I'm sure I more than paid the loan back). I settled with this law firm for 3 payments of $ 160 each payday. My questions... 1) I made a payment arrangement to change my second payment, which they didn't follow and debited my account for the 2 final payments (an issue I'm addressing with them) 2) Has anyone dealt with them before? I have seen numerous people who have said they have gotten refunds for interest over payments and what not.

Cast today Ltd. continuing to ignore my e-mail's have been trying to reach them by phone - always on hold now they say they have turned this over to there legal department - I have sent them letters after letters stating my state laws how I have paid them well above the 200.00 how there fees are in excess of the state of Arizona usary laws etc. etc. and they continue to ignore - They are not calling my work or my cell phone they are just sending me e-mails any Advice????????
