Hello, I settled a debt with Sherman over an old Discover card charge off. At least I thought I settled it. Now I'm receiving calls and letters from LVNV Funding. I have not spoken to them or made any paymnet. My question is the orginial creditor (Discover) is past sol. I just finished paying Sherman off in July. Did that restart the sol? The letter doesn't say Discover anywhere on it. All it says is date of service 07/29/1993. Regarding OSI/Gulf State- Credit Original. Says I owe $1,345.27. Thank you in advance.

So I get daily calls every half hour or so from the following number: (515) 453-2972 It comes up on the caller ID as "IOWA CALL" So I get numerous recorded messages on my machine to call back "Timothy" at: 800-665-5315 When I googled that number, it came up with YMCA. LoL I live nowhere near Iowa, and I'm positive it's a CA calling, but I don't know which one, and I'll be darned if I'm going to talk to them on the phone. If I can figure out who it is, I will send them a DV letter. Thanks! Jenna

I'm actually on hold RIGHT NOW with this Mrs. King lady. She keeps putting me on hold to speak with the company that is "Filing Charges" against me. When I got this call I freaked out. While holding I did a quick on line search for Bass & Associates. She sounds so official it really is rather scary. She just came back on and told me that I had to pay them 700.00 , 300.00 by 2pm TODAY or she was going hand over my case to the local court. She also mentioned about my husband being accountable as well.

Anyone know who this number belongs too. Got a call from a Brian Adams today threatening arrest etc etc. He left a nice long message on my voicemail which I have kept, but did not identify where he was calling from. I know I took a loan out with Route 66 ($200) and SJM ($300). Are they collecting for one of these? Please let me know if you knwo the answer to this. Thanks
